Overview Join our team at the Old Town Mission Thrift Store as a Cashier, in this role, you'll be the friendly face at the checkout counter, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional service. Responsibilities Transaction Processing:

Accurately ring up items using POS systems, accepting cash, and debit/credit cards.

Customer Service:

Greeting customers upon arrival and thanking them when leaving, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.

Cash Handling:

Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts and reporting discrepancies.

Merchandise Handling:

Bagging, boxing, or wrapping items carefully.

Store Maintenance:

Keeping the checkout area clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies Skills Strong communication skills combined with friendly phone etiquette to help be able to help customers

Math Skills:

Basic arithmetic for handling cash and making change. Attention to
