Job Description
High Scores Interactive Arcade Museum is currently seeking a part-time front desk attendant/floating coverage for our location in downtown Alameda. We are specifically hiring to fill a need for every Friday night 4:30 am - 12:30 am and additional hours during school breaks, holidays, and to cover vacation requests for other team members. 8 hours are guaranteed each week, scalable to 15-20 additional hours for high need holiday breaks such as Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc. High Scores Arcade has been a staple of video game lovers in the SF East Bay for 13 years! We focus on giving customers a fun, clean, and easy trip back to the 1980's against the backdrop of our collection of vintage arcade games. The front desk attendant will greet customers upon entry and walk them through our wristband-admission options. He/she will be responsible for; Cash and credit card handling Overseeing sales of minimal retail options Keeping the arcade floor monitored and clean Selling canned beer and tracking inventory Technical monitoring and might repairs on the most common issues with the games (joystick and button issues, etc) so as to be prepared should a customer report a problem
•Employees will be key holders and shifts will include either opening or closing procedures; shifts may be solo so the ability to work unsupervised and independently is key.

Pride in a job well done, an innate work ethic, punctuality, cleanliness, and honesty are our top qualifications. Our liquor license requires all applicants be 18+. Minimum of 1 year customer service and register experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not have cash handling or direct customer service experience.
