We are one of the most popular restaurants on campus and we are looking to add someone who loves talking to customers and has a great personality. The fall is our busiest time because of football games and we want someone who can work the night shifts until midnight or 2am. Must be able to work weekends and 4-5 days of the following schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 4pm-12am Thursday-Sat 6pm-2am Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and speed. Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and product information to enhance their shopping experience. Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to keep the store organized and inviting. Conduct product demos when needed to educate customers about new or featured items. Upsell products by suggesting additional items that complement customer purchases to boost sales. Maintain good phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are a plus) to connect effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and balancing the cash register at shift end. Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service. Experience with merchandising, stock management, and retail math will help you succeed in this role. Good phone etiquette and professional communication skills are essential for representing our store positively.
