Duties Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently to handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and mobile payments. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed. Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a positive attitude. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains attractive and well-maintained. Maintain accurate cash drawer handling by counting cash at the beginning and end of shifts, reconciling discrepancies promptly. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date, and participating in inventory counts. Experience Previous experience working as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training new team members or managing daily operations. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities are appreciated to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
