Duties Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with confidence Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections Conduct product demos when applicable to promote featured items and increase sales through upselling techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring a positive shopping environment Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, stocking new merchandise, and conducting stock counts Use strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure smooth store operations Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for engaging with customers and team members Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Enthusiastic about merchandising, stocking, and creating an inviting store atmosphere Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellent service while honing your retail expertise!
