This dual role is essential to our operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and providing excellent customer service at the point of sale. Position Overview As an Expo/Cashier, you'll be the final checkpoint before orders reach our customers and often the first point of contact for guests visiting our location. You'll split your time between expediting food orders, processing customer transactions, and supporting kitchen operations, playing a crucial role in maintaining our high standards for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities Expo Duties:

Check all orders for accuracy, completeness, and presentation before they leave the kitchen Run completed orders to guests in the dining room promptly Package orders properly for pickup or delivery, ensuring food safety and quality standards Monitor order tickets and prioritize based on timing and customer wait times Communicate clearly with kitchen staff about order status and any issues Assist with light kitchen prep work as needed during slower periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station

Cashier Duties:

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service Process orders accurately using our POS system Handle credit card and digital payment transactions Answer customer questions about menu items and the ordering process Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary Upsell menu items and promote special offers when appropriate Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy Comfort with POS systems and technology Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds What We Offer Competitive hourly wage: $18-$21 per hour Flexible scheduling Free meals during shifts Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Training and development Physical Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent reaching and bending, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
