This is where YOU fit in: As the Cashier to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer - our Military patrons and their families. So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed? Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers' needs. Directing customers to merchandise; informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions all while providing premier customer service. Maintains store appearance. Using a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer.
The Qualifiers:
Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Previous Retail Experience preferred but not required Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. The Benefits begin
