Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed attractively. Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about products and services. Perform product demonstrations when necessary to promote sales. Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism. Maintain accurate cash drawer, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory. Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
