In this guest-facing role, you'll support the Visitor Center team by processing transactions, assisting with retail and wine club needs, and helping keep our tasting spaces polished, organized, and ready for service. This role is part-time with the following schedule: Wednesday-Sunday . While our base wage is minimal, given our generous incentive plan and tip earning potential, this position can typically earn an extra $7.00-$11.00 per hour. What You'll Do Welcome guests warmly by directing them around the property, answering questions, supporting tasting needs, and contributing to an exceptional Domaine Carneros experience. Process guest transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, checks, gift certificates, promotional coupons, wine purchases, and retail sales. Balance assigned cash registers and maintain accuracy and accountability throughout daily operations. Assist wine club members with pick-up orders and help ensure a smooth, timely, and gracious service experience. Support retail sales by answering customer inquiries, promoting wines and retail offerings, and assisting walk-in guests with purchases. Keep the retail/concierge area clean, stocked, organized, and visually welcoming throughout business hours. Maintain knowledge of retail items, Domaine Carneros wines, tasting experiences, and the Chateau Society to better support guest questions and purchasing decisions. What You Bring Minimum 6 months' experience in a customer-facing role requiring cash handling and credit card processing in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment. Intermediate computer skills, including comfort navigating database and table management systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record financial transactions and maintain a balanced cash register. Excellent multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to stay warm, welcoming, gracious, and professional in a high-paced, high-traffic guest environment. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Knowledge of wines, winemaking, and the Napa and Sonoma areas is preferred. Ability to complete and maintain food handler's and responsible beverage service certification (must be at least 21 years of age) upon hire.
