Job Description

  • Weekend Availability Required as the parking department mainly works weekends Parking cashiers usually sit in a booth or walk down the entrance lane at the front of property, they issue claim tickets and collect fees when drivers use parking within property.
The Parking Cashier will help deliver the company's standards of customer service with each customer transaction while answering customer questions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cashier at entrance, taking cash and credit card payments.
  • Issue claim tickets and collect fees from drivers who are using parking facilities to park their cars for an event.
  • Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups
  • Assuring correct change is given and all transactions are accounted for accurately.
  • Ensure that good customer service is given to every customer as they enter.
  • Answer any questions that customers may have.
  • Use the radio to communicate with other parking attendants the direction of certain vehicles when they enter the park.
  • Shows up to work at their scheduled time.
  • Greet arriving and departing customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of the park facility.
  • Help direct traffic
  • Complete small cleaning and maintenance tasks when necessary
  • Other special projects as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • The ability to work nights and weekends
  • Patience for dealing with busy crowds
  • Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
  • Skill in courteous communication with public.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING
  • High school diploma or GED certification (preferred)
  • Minimum one year of similar experience preferred.
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Must have cash handling experience
