In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps customers check out smoothly and efficiently while providing top-notch customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our customers leave happy every time. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales quickly and accurately. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision. Upsell products by suggesting additional items or promotions to enhance customer experience. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally. Support the team with basic grocery store operations like stocking, inventory checks, and cleaning. Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or food retail environments. Bilingual skills are a big plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills and good phone etiquette to interact confidently with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and upselling techniques. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team.
