Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and correctly Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for change and totals Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features or promote new items Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or special deals to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Follow phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and participating in regular stock checks Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math is advantageous Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Supervising experience in retail can be beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and attentive listening, are essential for success in this role Join us to become part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
