What they do
A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

The QSR Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers.Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring the team consistently meets high standards of hospitalitySets ups stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standardsManages transactions and ensures accurate accountingPrepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves productsSupports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team membersMonitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the departmentEnsures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standardsDocuments, investigates, resolve and escalates guest incidentsAssists with administrative duties as neededPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food serviceBasic math skills and ability to handle money accuratelyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of coffee and coffee productionKnowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferredJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash registerAdditional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match Free family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!
