$19/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 11am-3pm Be the Friendly Face of Campus Dining! Are you passionate about providing great service and love working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? Join our team as a Food Service Cashier and help create a welcoming dining experience for students, faculty, and staff at one of our beautiful community college campuses. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in accuracy and efficiency, and thrives in a team setting. Why You'll Love It Here Work in a vibrant campus environment Join a team where your smile matters and your role is valued What You'll Do Greet and assist students, faculty, and guests with professionalism and warmth Operate a POS system including registers, scanners, and card terminals Accurately handle cash, cards, refunds, and exchanges Keep your station and dining area clean and organized Help restock grab-and-go items and assist with light food prep Maintain transaction records and complete daily cash reports Step in to support the team with additional duties as needed What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Food Handler's Certificate (required) ServeSafe Certification (can be obtained through internal training) Pass a background check and drug screen Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle fast-paced environments Strong communication and basic math skills Friendly, service-minded attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Preferred Experience Cashier or customer service experience in food service, college campuses, healthcare, hospitality, or fast food Comfortable working independently in the front-of-house Your Impact As a front-line cashier, you'll process payments, assist customers, and help keep our service area running smoothly.
