Your role is vital in creating a welcoming environment, handling sales accurately, and supporting store operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions quickly and accurately Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision, ensuring proper cash drawer handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information Conduct product demos when needed to highlight features and benefits of merchandise Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of store product offerings, merchandising standards, and current promotions Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with inventory management to ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-organized Demonstrate phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring stock levels are maintained Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations essential for smooth transaction processing Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs more effectively Experience in supervising or leading small teams is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities Basic math skills necessary for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and giving correct change Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies will set you apart Join our team as a Cashier and become an integral part of delivering memorable shopping experiences!
