The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards for quality and presentation. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary skills in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements as needed. Skills Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
