Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 2:00pm. Every weekend off. Home by 2:30. That is the whole schedule. It does not rotate, it does not change week to week, and you will never be asked to close on a Saturday. In this business that is close to unheard of, and it is the first thing we want you to know about this job.

WHAT THIS ACTUALLY PAYS

Base pay is $13.50 an hour, plus tips. Our crew averages $8 to $12 an hour in tips, so this works out to roughly $21.50 to $25.50 an hour based on what our people actually take home. And for your first 60 days after training ends, we guarantee $20 an hour. If your wage plus tips comes in under that in any pay period, we pay you the difference. Tips move around. You should not have to gamble on that while you are still learning the job. Paid weekly, every Friday, by direct deposit.

ABOUT MAPLE BLUES COFFEE

We are locally owned. Specialty coffee, energy drinks, bagel sandwiches, Belgian waffles and acai bowls. Craig runs on coffee and a lot of it comes through our window. Our mornings move fast, our regulars know us by name, and we know their order before they say it. We are opening a second location in Steamboat Springs, which means the people who show up and get good here get first shot at more responsibility and lead roles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be cross-trained on both the espresso bar and the kitchen. That is the job, not a bonus task. Pull shots, steam milk and build drinks to spec, every time Cook and plate food orders - bagel sandwiches, waffles, acai bowls Run the drive-thru window with speed, accuracy and real hospitality Handle the register and cash accurately Keep the shop clean, stocked and ready during the rush, not just after it
