Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product demos when appropriate Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising to ensure products are well-presented and accessible for customers Upsell store products by recommending related items or promotions to enhance the shopping experience Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support in-store product knowledge sharing and conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred; familiarity with retail math and cashiering is a plus Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations; basic math skills are essential for accurate transactions Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base Experience supervising or leading team members is a bonus, especially in a retail setting Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly and maintain an organized cash drawer Knowledge of retail store product placement, merchandising, and stock management practices Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions at all times Join us to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
