Full Job Description Now Hiring:

Full-Time Cashier — Katz Ace Hardware We're looking for a friendly, dependable person to be the face of our store. As our cashier, you're the first hello and the last impression — the person our regulars know by name. No hardware knowledge needed. If you're warm with people, good with details, and reliable, we'll teach you everything else. We're independently owned and operated — not some faceless chain. Our whole thing is helping neighbors with their projects, and the checkout counter is where that experience gets wrapped up right. What the job actually looks like: You're running the register — ringing up sales, handling returns, keeping your counter organized You're greeting everyone who walks in and thanking everyone who walks out You'll help answer the phone and point customers in the right direction It's full-time with steady hours, and you'll be on your feet most of your shift Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs (bags of ice melt don't bag themselves) What you get from us: Full-time, consistent schedule — posted two weeks out, and we work with you on it Training from day one, and hardware knowledge that pays off in real life A team that actually respects your time outside the store If this sounds like you, apply now — we'd love to meet you. Katz Ace Hardware is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace. We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community. Katz ACE Hardware is 5 generations strong serving the community of Glastonbury and surrounding towns since 1920 . We are hard working men and women part of the fabric of your community. We are part of small business owners who are local and loyal...just like it ought to be. While others have become large and impersonal, at Ace, we've remained small and very personal. That's why we say a visit to Ace, is like a visit to your neighbor.
