The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an understanding of food service operations and the ability to work well under pressure, ensuring that customers have a positive experience. We are looking to fill a position for the first shift / morning shift. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately using Toast POS Process phone/takeout orders Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs promptly. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Assist in food handling and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Adhere to all company policies regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere. Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to perform basic math calculations for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
