Cashier / Stocker

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Stocker to join our boutique bottle shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and maintaining organised stock levels. This role offers an engaging beach environment where organisational skills, communication, and time management are essential to ensure smooth store operations. Duties Operate the cash register, process payments accurately, and handle cash and card transactions Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases Restock shelves and organise merchandise to ensure attractive displays Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and stocktaking Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales area and stockroom Handle phone enquiries professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively according to store standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise queues and ensure prompt service Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Strong communication skills in English Organisational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and manage stock efficiently Ability to demonstrate excellent time management during peak hours This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable retail skills in a dynamic beach environment.
