Monday-Friday 9:00 AM•3:00 PM Weekends Off About Us Verace Artisan Pizzeria & Ristorante is a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant in Coral Gables known for authentic wood-fired pizza, fresh ingredients, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our lunch shift. Position Overview This is a Cashier / Food Prep position that requires someone who enjoys working with customers while also helping in the kitchen. During slower periods, you'll prepare salads and assist with food prep. During our busy lunch rush, you'll support the Front of the House with TO GO orders at the cashier, coffee making and also help wash dishes. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take customer to go orders and process payments using our POS system. Prepare fresh salads and other light food prep items. Restock ingredients and maintain a clean prep station. Coffee making (espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, lattes) Wash dishes and kitchen utensils during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation standards. Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams. Assist with other restaurant duties as needed. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Able to multitask and prioritize during busy lunch hours. Restaurant, cashier, or food prep experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
