Cashier / Restaurant Team Member We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier / Restaurant Team Member to join our restaurant team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and processing orders accurately, handling payments, and helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. Start $12 + tips Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service. Take customer orders accurately in person and through the restaurant's POS system. Process cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment accurately. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow proper cash-handling procedures. Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Recommend menu items, promotions, and add-ons to increase customer satisfaction and sales. Ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and efficiently. Package food and drinks for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area. Restock supplies and assist with keeping the restaurant properly organized. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operating procedures. Assist other team members with daily restaurant operations when needed. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. Work effectively as part of a team and help create a positive workplace environment. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the restaurant. Experience Previous restaurant, cashier, customer service, or food service experience is preferred but not required. Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic math skills and attention to detail when handling payments and orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role will be considered an asset for future growth opportunities.
