Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assisting Facility Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills, gain hands-on experience in retail and facility operations, and contribute to a positive experience for visitors and staff alike. You will be the friendly face ensuring smooth daily operations, assisting with merchandising, stocking, and providing exceptional service to all who enter the facility. Responsibilities Greet visitors and staff warmly, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Assist with product demos, showcasing merchandise to enhance customer engagement. Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing. Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, and basic retail math calculations accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, upselling products when appropriate. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors, ensuring professional interactions. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team tasks or guiding new staff members. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you excel in this role. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management are essential. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers, team members, and management.
