Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Take orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests
• Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guest
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative setting
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs and procedures
