Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling cash at the end of shifts. Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising to answer customer questions effectively. Ensure excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or in person. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains tidy and inviting. Support inventory management through stocking, product replenishment, and participating in stock counts. Engage in retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments. Provide friendly customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with merchandising displays and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills. Proven supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear verbal interaction and phone etiquette. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and stock management.
