Overview Community Co-op is seeking a Shift Lead - Cashier to help oversee front-end operations while providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for someone with leadership skills, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for assisting cashiers, ensuring smooth daily operations, and stepping in as a leader to support both the team and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee front-end operations during your shift, ensuring efficiency and organization. Deliver outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming shopping experience. Handle cash, process transactions, and assist customers with purchases. Support, train, and mentor cashiers and front-end staff. Address customer concerns and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain store cleanliness and uphold company policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service (leadership experience preferred). Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to stay organized, multitask, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for community.
