Job Description Job Description Position Summary Our Cashiers assist the Front End Manager and Customer Service Lead in executing the store's front-of-house operations, including cashiering, customer service, checkout efficiency, and janitorial tasks. This role ensures a positive shopping experience by maintaining excellent customer service standards, ensuring that common areas are clean and sanitary, and accurately executing cash handling processes. As a main point of customer contact, this position plays a uniquely important role in the overall success of the store. Key Responsibilities Streamline the customer experience through fast, friendly, and accurate checkouts. Delight customers by exceeding their expectations with best-in-class service. Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally and efficiently. Follow all cash handling procedures, including counting down and reconciling tills. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards in checkout and entrance areas. Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels. Coordinate with store leadership to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction goals.. Requirements Qualifications Relevant industry experience preferred but not required Basic computer, POS, and cash management knowledge Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of food safety regulations preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)
