Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience. Accurately process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given. Upsell products when appropriate to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
