Position Overview We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. This role is key to creating a positive customer experience while ensuring accuracy in all transactions. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and committed to excellent service. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide attentive, courteous service at checkout. Accurately process transactions, including cash, checks, and credit cards. Key in sales with the correct SKU, customer address, and contact information. Process and record credit applications with accuracy and confidentiality. Wrap and package accessories safely for customers. Handle incoming phone calls, directing them promptly and professionally to the appropriate associate or manager. Assist sales associates as needed, ensuring smooth store operations. Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, including vacuuming, spot-cleaning, and assisting with display setups. Process returns and exchanges according to company procedures. Stay informed by reviewing company memos and updates. Support other team members, participate in training, and assist with physical inventories. Complete additional tasks as assigned, always supporting a "team first" environment. Qualifications Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
