Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions about products and store services Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts Handle cash register operations with precision, managing cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and promote featured items Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an inviting shopping environment Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred, especially in grocery or grocery store environments Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities as a nice-to-have for serving diverse customers effectively Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly and accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic math skills for calculating totals, giving correct change, and managing cash drawers confidently Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management is a plus Prior supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings are advantageous but not required Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
