# Cashier - The Juicy Crab Job Summary The Juicy Crab is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service while accurately processing orders and payments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Accurately take dinein, takeout, and phone orders. Process cash, credit card, and digital payments using the POS system. Answer customer questions about the menu, specials, and promotions. Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicate with the kitchen as needed. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and frontofhouse area. Balance cash drawer and follow cashhandling procedures. Assist with restocking supplies and completing light cleaning duties. Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent customer service. Follow all company policies and food safety standards. Qualifications Previous cashier, retail, or restaurant experience preferred but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math and cashhandling skills.
