In this vital role, you will be the friendly face at the counter, ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant sales transactions. You will have a opportunity to earn bonuses if we do well during routine health inspections. Which no other restaurant offers since the expectation is to do well on inspections regardless. We do expect to do well during inspections also, but reward with bonuses if the desired grade is reached.

Schedule:

Thursday & Friday 5pm - 11pm, Saturday 11am - 11pm.

Responsibilities:

Operate cash register accurately, handling all restaurant sales transactions with precision and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times. Assist with refilling coke and juice machine products, counter seasonings etc. Maintain a clean restaurant, by sweeping, mopping, wiping off tables and counters, taking out the trash and also keeping the restroom clean. Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating store activities. Previous cashiering experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs. Experience in restaurant sales transactions and basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Supervising experience or leadership roles in restaurant settings are a plus, demonstrating the ability to assist team members and uphold store standards. Job duties are not limited to those listed above since I may have forgotten to list them all.
