Responsibilities Accurately process all sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring correct cash handling and receipt issuance Close out registers at the end of each shift, balancing cash drawers and preparing reports with precision Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves during your shift to ensure an inviting store environment Handle customer questions professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with merchandising initiatives Supervise or assist junior team members during closing procedures, fostering teamwork and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities within a retail setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in bilingual environments if applicable Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash reconciliation and retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations, including stocking, merchandising, and product demos Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills for engaging with customers and team members Skills in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive customer experience Join us as a Closing Cashier if you're energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.
