This role involves welcoming customers, taking dine-in and takeout orders, processing payments, answering basic menu questions, organizing completed orders, and helping maintain a clean and organized front counter. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a busy pizza restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately. Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments. Answer basic questions about pizza, menu items, pricing, and restaurant offerings. Confirm order details and communicate special requests clearly with kitchen staff. Provide receipts and assist with routine customer requests. Organize completed orders for pickup, takeout, or dine-in service. Keep the register, counter, and front-of-house areas clean and organized. Restock bags, containers, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies. Assist kitchen and restaurant team members during busy service periods. Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties as assigned. Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Communicate customer concerns or order issues to the appropriate team member. Qualifications Previous cashier, pizza restaurant, restaurant, café, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful. Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable learning POS and payment procedures. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant procedures. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
