Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic non-profit retail team! Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with merchandise selections Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking register & retail supplies Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end, along with making change order requests Use POS (Point of Sale) systems confidently to process transactions, and exchanges while adhering to store policies Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers Engage in retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and sales promotions accurately Assist in inventory management through sorting, pricing, & displaying merchandise Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math is important for smooth daily operations Knowledge of retail and merchandising techniques will help maximize sales opportunities

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.50 per hour
