Whether handling transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system or assisting with product demos, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive store success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit, and mobile payments confidently Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, replenishing inventory, and maintaining attractive displays in accordance with merchandising standards Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stocking deliveries to ensure products are available and well-presented Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, and stockroom for a safe shopping environment Support supervising staff when needed by helping train new team members or overseeing daily operations during shifts Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members in a bilingual environment is a plus Experience in merchandising, stocking, or retail sales helps provide a foundation for success in this role Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating a welcoming shopping environment!
