Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling responsibilities, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible Provide friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks as directed by supervisors Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in advancing into leadership roles Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales processes is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels exceptional customer experiences!
