In this energetic role, you will handle food preparation, operate POS systems, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing transactions and food handling duties. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders at the counter or café station Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while maintaining cash handling accuracy Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, counters, and dining spaces Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment such as quick service or fast-food restaurants Qualifications Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is advantageous Culinary experience or kitchen work background is beneficial but not mandatory Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellent food experiences!
