Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of cone-based treats, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions, sales, and refunds Engage with customers warmly, upselling additional toppings or products to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling stations, counters, and equipment Manage cash register operations efficiently, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food preparation tasks like scooping ice cream, topping cones, and managing inventory levels Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures and food industry regulations Support other team members with bussing tables or cleaning duties to ensure a tidy environment Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions; grocery store or retail math experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning effectively Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service Join us if you're passionate about creating delightful treats while delivering top-notch customer service!
