Restaurant Team Member - Multiple Positions Lucy's Barbecue - Highland, Indiana Lucy's Barbecue is hiring for our opening team in Highland, Indiana. We're building a barbecue restaurant focused on great food, genuine hospitality, and a strong team culture. Line Cooks Prep Cooks Butchers Pit Operators / Pit Crew Bartenders Cashiers Bussers Dishwashers What We're Looking For Experience is preferred for some positions, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important. We're looking for team members who: Show up on time and ready to work Work well in a fast-paced restaurant environment Communicate well with coworkers and guests Take cleanliness and food safety seriously Can follow recipes, procedures, and direction Take pride in producing consistent, high-quality work Are willing to learn and help wherever needed Can work as part of a team without needing constant supervision Are available for restaurant hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Kitchen & Barbecue Positions Line Cooks Work our hot line during service, including fry, grill, sides, plating, and other stations. Maintain speed, consistency, cleanliness, and proper food handling throughout service. Prep Cooks Prepare ingredients, sauces, sides, proteins, and other menu items according to Lucy's recipes and standards. Maintain an organized and sanitary prep area. Butchers Trim, portion, slice, and prepare meats for smoking and service. Applicants should be comfortable working with large cuts of meat, knives, scales, yields, and portion specifications. Pit Operators / Pit Crew Responsible for helping manage our smoked meats and barbecue production. Duties may include loading smokers, monitoring temperatures, managing fires, rotating and pulling meats, wrapping, holding, slicing, cleaning equipment, and maintaining consistent barbecue quality. Previous barbecue or live-fire cooking experience is a plus. Front of House Positions Bartenders Provide fast, friendly, knowledgeable service while preparing beverages, maintaining the bar, processing transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Previous bartending experience is preferred. Cashiers Welcome guests, accurately enter orders, answer menu questions, process payments, and help keep service organized and moving efficiently. Bussers Keep the dining room clean, organized, and ready for guests. Clear and reset tables, assist servers and other team members, and help maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Dishwashers Maintain clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while keeping the dish area organized and sanitary. Dishwashers are an important part of keeping the entire restaurant operating efficiently. Posiciones de Atención al Cliente Bartenders Proporcionan un servicio rápido, amable y profesional, preparan bebidas, mantienen el área del bar, procesan pagos y ayudan a crear una excelente experiencia para nuestros clientes. Se prefiere experiencia previa como bartender.
