Ensures orders are processed in accordance with the Boar's Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse, distribution center, or meat processing facility. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager.

Responsibilities:

Assuring Weight is within allowed tolerance on all pallets/orders. Rejecting pallets/orders that do not meet specifications. Counting product/cases per pallet physically and noting quantities on the packing slip. Responsible for making sure that all pallets are in acceptable condition. Ensuring that all pallets/orders are properly labeled and accompanied with all the required documentation. Communicating all product shortages to the Lead or Supervisor. Keeping workstation in a clean and safe condition. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have strong desire to accept responsibility, show initiative and be a team player. Must be able to work cooperatively with other workers throughout the plant. Must be able to communicate with Management, Supervision and Leads. Experience in computer data processing. Some knowledge in packaging material weights and product description. Knowledge of product preferred.
