Lynita Braun Job Summary:
Provide overall assistance to the Bookstore staff including assisting customers, answering phones, operating cash register, stock and straighten shelves and unpacking new merchandise when received. Standard business hours would be 8:00 am
  • 5:00 pm Monday
  • Thursday and 8:00 am
  • 4:30 pm Friday.
A few times during the year, students will be asked to work evenings at sporting events.
Requirements:
Must be neat, courteous, and trustworthy. Able to handle money and make correct change. Good customer service skills. Able to lift heavy boxes and books. Must report for work as scheduled and have adequate transportation to and from work.
Preferred Skills:
Cash register experience, customer service skills, and general clerking experience a willingness to learn and help where needed.
Special Remarks:
The Campus Store has various visitors, so it is important to be professional in behavior and dress appropriately. Always remember the customer
  • always be alert and cordial.
Notify the manager if you are unable to work your regularly scheduled hours. Fall rush begins mid-July and Spring rush begins the first day we are open in January. Hours are available between December finals week until the college closes for Christmas break. Summer hours are available from mid-May through mid-August.
