Overview We are seeking a dependable and friendly Cashier to join our family-owned gas station. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The Cashier will also be responsible for light food preparation, stocking shelves, and keeping the cooler tidy. This position offers an engaging work environment where multitasking and a positive attitude are valued. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and general tidying of the sales area Stock shelves and cooler to ensure products are well-organized and fully stocked Prepare light food items using a flat top grill and fryer as needed Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers Assist with other store duties as required to support daily operations Qualifications Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor Ability to perform light cleaning duties and stock shelves efficiently Willingness to learn food preparation tasks using a flat top grill and fryer Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to food handling and store maintenance Join our team to provide excellent service in a welcoming environment while contributing to the smooth operation of our local gas station.
