Overview Tanker BBQ Co. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team. We are rapidly growing and love serving our customers! We want to add another great person to our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in retail sales. This role is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers by providing exceptional service at the front end of the store. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and resolving issues. Engage in upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Maintain a clean and organized front end area, including merchandising products effectively. Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management to ensure product availability. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and retail math calculations. Answer phone and exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and product stocking best practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
