Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with speed and precision while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and inviting. Handle cash handling procedures responsibly, including cash register operations, cash drawer management, and basic math calculations for transactions. Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring product knowledge aligns with store standards. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Demonstrated upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to enhance the shopping experience.
