Summary This position is responsible for certain clerical duties in the Deposit Operations department. These include but are not limited to servicing and maintaining of deposit accounts. Collaborates with other departments as needed. Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and processing of non-posted items, large dollar items, exception items, stop payments, adjustments, incoming and outgoing returns, charge-off accounts, forgeries, sweeps, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring correction of ACH notifications of change.
- Reviewing overdraft protection requests for eligibility.
- Monitoring and safekeeping of dormant accounts.
- Assist with processing of overdraft accounts and monitoring for late deposits.
- Monitoring for deceased account holders, placing holds, and responding to reclamations or death notification entries.
- Reviewing and processing of account closures.
- Reporting and payment of IOLTA interest and back-up withholding.
- Collection of foreign items.
- Processing and sorting of U.S and interoffice mail.
- Performs customer service of advanced deposit inquires.
- Reviewing and preparing various reports.
- Conducts research as needed.
- Assists the Fraud Department as needed.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training of related regulatory and state requirements to remain current.
- Preform all other duties within the scope of the department. Specific Requirements
