Job Description
Summary The Concession Stand Coordinator at Caldwell County Middle School will oversee the operation of the concession stand during the school's seasonal events and activities. This role is crucial for ensuring that all concession operations run smoothly, providing a positive experience for attendees while maximizing sales and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the concession stand, including inventory management, and financial reporting to CCMS Bookkeeper. Set up and dismantle the concession stand before and after events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue. Track inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that all food and beverage items are stocked and available. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, maintaining financial records and preparing daily sales reports. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with school administration to align concession offerings with event needs. Promote healthy snack options and ensure compliance with any dietary guidelines set by the school. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; experience in food service or retail is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends during the school's event schedule. Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment. Background check may be required.
