Cashier Our client, a local restaurant in Alexandria, LA , is looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join their team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and ensuring every guest has a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions Answer customer questions regarding menu items and specials Maintain a clean and organized front counter area Assist with order preparation and packaging as needed Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the point-of-sale system Follow all food safety and company policies Qualifications Required Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Preferred Previous cashier, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
