Duties Operate cash registers (POS systems) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Handle cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure products are well-organized and visually appealing Assist with product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or coordinating store activities Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with inventory management Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; grocery store experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash register operations Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base Demonstrated proficiency in basic math for handling transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock replenishment techniques Ability to provide product demos confidently and educate customers on store offerings Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions Join our team where your energy fuels our success!
